Indoor Swimming Lessons For Children : Heated & salt water chlorinated pool in Singapore

Posted by Vicky on | May 18, 2012 | No Comments

There is a fair amount of rain in Singapore. As the saying goes, the seasons in Singapore are “hot and hotter, wet and wetter”. So when looking for swimming lessons that are guaranteed not to be called off by the weather, look for indoor lessons!

Found in the heart of Serangoon Gardens at the Burghley Lifestyle Hub, AquaBambinos is an absolute gem of a swim school. The pool at AquaBambinos is not only indoor, but it is also heated, very clean and brand new.

Set up by two Mums Peng Peng and Christabel “who believe that swimming is an invaluable life-skill”. AquaBambinos has been open since January 2012. All of the instructors have a Singapore First Aid qualification in CPR and AED.

The classes are small with a maximum of 6 children for parent-accompanied classes, and 5 for the unaccompanied classes. The swimming teachers are patient and friendly, and the use of toys, the slide and games ensures lesson is also fun – while the child grows in confidence.

Aside from a spacious heated pool, there are great facilities at the premises, hot showers, lockers, toilets and changing rooms, as well as a waiting area for parents who do not accompany their children into the pool.

There is great news also for parents whose children suffer from skin complaints such as eczema. The pool water is kept clean through salt water chlorination, and is gentle on the skin.
